Raheem Sterling, a prodigy

In premier league football, certain footballing attributes have more value than others. One of such attributes is speed.Fast, nimble-legged players have always been eye-catchers on the pitch.
Another vital quality is stamina. In the top-division of Europe ,you've got to make your runs,be it in the first minute or the 1ˢᵗ minute or the 90ᵗʰ.Along with these qualities if a player also has that flair, that smooth first-touch or the extra bit of quality in his finish, you've got yourself a formidable attacking player.

Raheem Shaquille Sterling is a player who has been blessed with these qualities in good measure. The Jamaican-born British winger started his career at QPR ,In 2010 he was brought into one of England's biggest clubs, Liverpool by Rafael Benitez. But it was current manager Brendan Rodgers who helped bring Sterling into the limelight, Being given a chance in the 1st team Sterling almost immediately impressed and eventually went on to secure a place in the starting line-up ahead of older and more established comrades. Apart from the facts and the bag of talent that he is,what else makes Sterling special? certainly the English Premier League has more skilled and exciting players to offer? Well, Sterling has achieved all this at the age of just 17, being so young he has already got his 1st senior goal for Liverpool and has earned his 1st England Cap as well.Sterling can boast of 4 assists this season as well,at the age of 17, when rubbing shoulders with the seniors should be an accomplishment in itself Raheem Sterling has outplayed and even out classed opponents older and more experienced. Not the biggest of players physically on the pitch but he has shown he is not afraid to go into challenges with the big defenders like Kolo Toure. The fact that Sterling will grow into an even better player is concrete because the last time I saw a young player impress this much in Liverpool red was none other than Steven Gerrard.Keep an eye on this wonderkid.
